William Johns, P.E., County Engineer

The Engineering division is managed by the County Engineer and fulfills all of the statutory requirements of the county road engineer under RCW 36.75 and WAC Title 136 while providing technical and administrative oversight of all County transportation infrastructure, assets, and utilization. 

The Engineering division also conducts or administers research and provides information and technical support to other county divisions, departments, and the public concerning roads, bridges, drainage, surveys, monuments, subdivisions, and right-of-way.

Division oversight covers Adams County's 1,930 square miles by administration and management of 1,774 county road miles and 125 county bridges.
