, GIS Coordinator

The function of the GIS Coordinator is to work with divisions within the Public Works department as well as several other departments to develop and maintain various geodatabases. 

Adams County uses ESRI software packages, and with these the GIS Coordinator creates data-specific map presentations using information pulled from our geodatabases.  These maps allow county departments and divisions to quickly analyze and compare data sets to view traffic flow trends, pin-point an address, or quickly identify a maintenance route -- to name but a few examples of internal usage.
