Adams County Integrated Health Care Services provides temporary Emergency Housing into our local motels and shelters for individuals and families based on eligibility.

Motel Assistance:
Temporary Motel Assistance is available for individuals with or without children. An applicant may only apply once in any given year for assistance. Qualifying applicants are housed in a motel for a few days until they are referred out to another housing resource that can provide the applicant with additional/longer assistance.

Short-Term Shelter Assistance:
Temporary Shelter Assistance is available for families of single parent or two-parent households with dependent children under 18 years of age. This is a case-managed program where families are to actively work on employment goals and stability to obtain permanent housing. Qualifying families are placed in a shelter home and must be involved in active move out plan and meet with the housing coordinator on a weekly basis; including unscheduled home visits.
