The Office of the Adams County Prosecuting Attorney is accepting applications for the position of Victim Witness Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: providing outreach to victims and witnesses of criminal cases filed in Superior and the District Courts of Adams County; acting as a liaison between victims/witnesses and prosecutors to assist with the prosecution of criminal cases for trial and/or hearings; conducting interviews of witness and victims; as well as managing support staff, preparing payroll and accounts payable, and assisting Prosecutors with civil matters. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and have a valid Washington State Driver’s License. Prior employment experience in a criminal justice related field preferred, but not required. This position will be classified at Range EE1 of the 2021 Exempt Employee Salary Schedule, with a beginning annual salary from $49,383.01 to $63,026.63, depending upon prior experience, plus a full county benefit package.
