POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
ADAMS COUNTY REAL ESTATE EXCISE TAX DEPUTY
The Adams County Treasurer’s Office is accepting applications for the Real Estate Excise Tax Deputy position. This is a 40-hour/week full-time position currently classified at Salary Range A of the Employee Salary Schedule with a range of $3,245.10 - $3,394.74. Initial step placement at time of hiring is dependent upon prior relevant experience and qualifications. Fully paid employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life. Adams County participates in the Washington State Retirement Fund.
Persons must perform work involving cash handling, processing of real estate transactions, and revenue receipt. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License, previous cash handling experience, direct office experience, and proficiency in Excel, Word, & Microsoft Outlook. Additional requirements include strong customer service skills, multi-task, and attention to detail. Persons must pass a criminal background check.
