Segregation Deputy

The Adams County Assessor’s Office is currently accepting applications for Segregation Deputy. This position is responsible for maintaining tax assessment records and identifying all changes in ownership and taxpayer. Person is responsible for the segregation of the short plats, long plats, boundary line adjustments, combining all properties and other related areas.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and three (3) years’ experience with accounting and/or tax assessment. Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and have a valid Washington State Driver’s License.

This is a 40 hours/week, benefited position which is currently classified at Range A of the 2023 Adams County Employee Salary Schedule with a range of $18.65 - $24.42. Initial step placement at time of hiring is dependent upon prior relevant experience and qualifications. Fully paid employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life.
